A Cute Puppy

Difficulty: Easy

This is a very basic tutorial and we are going to draw a cute puppy in quick time…
Head

Start by drawing 2 oval shapes one bellow the other as in the image
Use the pencil tool to draw 2, 3 lines for the eyes (increase the smoothing if necessary)
Add a big nose using the oval tool
For the ears draw a tall oval and convert it to a path.. then drag away the top most node to the left or right!

Body

For legs draw 2 ovals as in the image and select both and Path > Union
Duplicate the leg 4 times and add around an oval – the body
Select top most shapes and Path > Union

And here is the final drawing.. I’ve added some spots using the oval tool (why I always use the oval tool?)
